We live in LA now.. had to check out the church of scientology! haha. We got a free DVD, Ill try to write a follow up on what I learn =)

We are at startbucks because we don’t have internet. Playing catch up with our virtual lives… and applying for jobs of course =D

We signed the lease for our place and got the keys. Time to start the next chapter in our lives. Cant wait to see all the amazing things that come out of this beautiful little place we will be calling our home.    - J

October (the 2nd 1/2 of movingtoLA) and I both live about 3000 miles away from LA, so when we are able to go out there and physically look at places, we want to make the most of it, and any advice could really help!

Hey Caroline! Well, I moved out of my parents house when I was 17 to go to film school and was living off of student loans for about three years, and I recently moved back home and im finally moving back out again!  The apartment we found is near Silverlake/Koreatown which is a good place to start if you are thinking about living downtown in the middle of things!  I wouldn’t recommend living in the Valley, just because there isn’t much at all going on out there.  I would figure out what your budget is like and line up a bunch of places to see while youre visiting… and as soon as you get an address, start applying for jobs!  Our studio is $800/month which is really cheap.. well California cheap! lol…  but really all the advice I can give is to move to LA with a ton of ambition and a ton of patience (for all the traffic!) and you two will be just fine!! Plus, we will be your friends! hahaha GOOD LUCK!!
